Coral Springs Tue Night Tournament (Nov)

Sorry if this is incoherent and boring...it's after midnight...

It was a pain driving to CSCC for the first time. After getting off the turnpike, I was supposed to turn right on 441, but after driving a couple miles, the road went no farther west, ending with some dinky-looking road running north-south. I was about to make a U-turn, when the realization occurred...the dinky-looking road is 441. It's actually a major road, but the dark made it hard to see. So of course, not wanting to miss the yellow light, I dashed across three lanes to make the right turn (only one person honked at me). The club wasn't hard to find; it's actually held in a tutoring building. I talked with the guy about joining...$15 for a year's membership and $10 for the tournament. It's actually the second round out of four, and I had a half-hour to decide whether to enter. Having zero cash, I tell them I'll be right back.

Of course, I didn't know where an ATM was, although fortunately, Bank of America has one everywhere, so that wasn't the problem. My first stop at the ATM, I took out $10 in cash, and planned to pay for dinner using the card. Then I go to Arby's (hadn't been there in a long time), to find out their machine doesn't work. Which means another trip to the ATM (and making 2 more U-turns, a real pain). Finally, armed with enough money, I get a Beef & Cheddar sandwich and the Curly Fries (not as good as I remember), and pay my tournament dues. Naturally, my entry makes it an odd number of players, so I think someone "volunteered" to take a bye. Who knows. Man, I'm sleepy.
