Nebuchadnezzar's Dream

Sometimes, reading a description of something unusual or otherworldly, I imagine what it must look like--and then wish I could visit it, or at least had a picture to see what it "really" looks like. Of course, with history, fiction, or dreams, all we can do is envision.

This is an interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream as recounted in Daniel 2. The statue had a head of gold, torso of silver, abs and thighs of brass, legs of iron, and feet of iron and clay.

It's not likely that the statue had a sword, and was probably standing rather than kneeling. A Biblical literalist or purist might complain, but there's not any more description than what I've mentioned.

I also plan on rendering this from a different point of view, which would emphasize the statue's size and majesty. In this render, I wanted to get in a more total environment, including the haze and hills in the background. Plus, you can see the abs and pecs, which will increase the beefcake value for the ladies. If they don't mind the metallic skin!
